Volunteer

As a member of the Los Angeles Figure Skating Club there is an expectation that you and/or your family will contribute volunteer time each membership year to help out with club functions such as competitions and other club events. Our club is run by volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help with test sessions, club competitions, special events, monitoring, announcing, music, registration, hospitality and much more. Please watch for regular club emails announcing these volunteer opportunities.

ANNOUNCERS

Announce skaters taking the ice 

AWARDS

Present medals 

CHAIR

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of events

HOSPITALITY

Cater, donate, stock,

set-up food for the judges

ICE MONITORS

Monitor all skaters entering the ice for practice ice, warm up and competition

LOGISTICS

Assist in all aspects of rink preparation for competitions, including availability during events

MUSIC COORDINATOR

Download skater music and play during competition

REGISTRATION

Check in arriving skaters for competition, manage protocol pickup, answer general questions

RUNNER

Carry paper and other items between registration desk, judging area, and/or accounting room
