Competition Opportunities
QUALIFYING STRUCTURE FOR SINGLES, PAIRS & ICE DANCE
The U.S. Figure Skating qualifying structure leads up to the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Junior and Senior levels, while Juvenile, Intermediate and Novice level skaters may qualify for the National Development Camp. Additionally, skaters competing at the Juvenile level and above may compete in the National Qualifying Series (NQS) to qualify for the Sectional Singles Final for singles skaters, U.S. Pairs Final for pairs teams, or the U.S. Ice Dance Final for dance teams.

NON-QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS
Any member of U.S. Figure Skating interested in competing outside of the qualifying structure may enter a non-qualifying competition. Non-qualifying competitions are hosted by figure skating clubs for the levels and disciplines of their choice, and may be a part of a competition series, or an independent event.

ADULT COMPETITION STRUCTURE
Whether you are an adult who became a skater or a skater who became an adult, the U.S. Figure Skating Adult Skating Program has a place for everyone to learn, enjoy and participate regardless of age or level. There are a variety of skating programs, proficiency tests and competitions on the local, national and international level open to adult skaters.
