LET’S SEND OUR SUPPORT TO CHARLIE MILTIMORE FOR A SPEEDY & COMPLETE RECOVERY!

Hello LAFSC Members:

A treasured member of our Southern California skating community, Charlie Miltimore, has been taken seriously ill. Charlie has been a fixture at many LAFSC competitions, and those of other clubs, serving as ice technician, jack-of-all trades and everyone’s right-hand-man. His willingness to do whatever is needed has helped our competitions run smoothly, and we are always grateful for his participation. Some of you may know Charlie from Paramount, where he is employed.

We are asking you to help LAFSC send a message to Charlie to let him know just how many people are thinking of him and wishing him a full recovery.

He is not able to have flowers, balloons, etc., but he can get mail.

Please take a few moments today to send a card or short note to him. It won’t take long and will go a long way toward boosting his spirits. Let’s make sure he gets a flood of cards and letters!

LAFSC SKATERS SHINE BRIGHTLY AT THE 2014 US FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Our skaters most definitely brought their “A” games to Boston, along with some sunshine and star power to make this a exceptionally stellar and celebratory competition for our club. At the conclusion of this year’s event, our LAFSC skaters came away with three National Championship titles, one Silver Medal, One Bronze Medal and one Pewter Medal, and insured that our club’s singular and historical streak of winning at least one National Championship title in at least one discipline every year since 1983 stayed intact! You guys all rocked! We are so proud of all your efforts and hope that each of you had a rewarding experience.

Here are the complete results of our LAFSC skaters. GO TEAM LAFSC!
