LAFSC SKATERS CONTINUE TO SHINE IN PROVO! DAY 2 OF PACIFIC COAST SECTIONALS RECAP. CONGRATULATIONS TO DANIEL SAMOHIN, PAOLO BORROMEO, JASMINE & JOSHUA FENDI, ALEXIS MIDDLETON, AND LAUREN & LOGAN LEONESIO!

Several of our LAFSC skaters again stood atop the podium on day two of the 2013 Pacific Coast Sectionals!

Congratulations to Daniel Samohin and Paolo Borromeo who finished the Novice Mens’ event in first and second place, with point totals well above the rest of the field! Awesome job Daniel and Paolo! You rocked the house! Also competing in the Novice Mens’ event were Sahmaro Rockhold, who finished sixth place overall, and Darien Weiss, who finished in seventh place overall. Good luck Daniel and Paolo as you head to Omaha in January to compete in the 2013 US Figure Skating Championships! We’re rooting for you to continue your string of strong performances!

Congratulations to Jasmine & Joshua Fendi who stood atop the podium in first place in the Juvenile Pairs event. Great job Jasmine & Joshua! With this win, Jasmine & Joshua will be representing our club at the 2013 US Figure Skating Championships in Omaha!

Congratulations are also in order for Lauren Leonesio who won the Bronze Medal in Novice Dance with partner Quinn Chambers! Yay Lauren! Devin Perini, with partner Anna Li, finished this event in 5th place. Good luck in Omaha Lauren!

We would also like to extend our congratulations to Alexis Middleton who won the Intermediate Dance event with partner Michael Valdez. Congratulations Alexis! Logan Leonesio who won the Silver Medal in Intermediate Dance with partner, Cassidy Klopstock. Good luck in Omaha Logan!

In the Novice Ladies event, Cheyenne Taylor had a strong FS and finished the competition just off the podium in fifth place.

In Intermediate Ladies, Isabella Smith finished the event in ninth place.

After the short program in the Junior Mens’ event, Shotaro Omori is currently in third place, Spencer Howe is in fifth place, and Patrick Leahy is currently in sixth place. Good luck guys! Have a great FS! We’re rooting for you!
